Robert Atwood, a Waltham School of Watchmaking graduate and a retired Sears executive with 25 years of experience in watchmaking and jewelry management, established Atwood Jewelers in 1983. It began as The Repair Palace, a watch and jewelry repair shop in Saugus, MA.

More than Repair

Building on its success, Atwood Jewelers opened a second "Repair Palace" within the Sears at The Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH, in 1993. Over the next 25 years, this location thrived, significantly expanding its offerings. It transitioned from specializing in jewelry, watch, and clock repair to also carrying a vast selection of estate and contemporary pieces. The store also established a lucrative gold, silver, and platinum buying program.

Family legacy

1998 marked another significant milestone for Atwood Jewelers with the opening of a third store – a kiosk at the Mall at Whitney Field in Leominster, MA. This location has been expertly managed by Joanne Atwood, Robert's daughter, for the past 15 years. The kiosk offers a diverse selection of jewelry, catering to various tastes, while also providing essential watch and jewelry repair services to the local community.
